Continued from Part - 1
Mount Abu, a hill town in Rajasthan, is about four hundred and fifty kilometers from Jaisalmer. Although the roads in this state are quite good compared to other states. However, it will take about nine to ten hours to reach Mount Abu from Jaisalmer. Add to that the number of times you have to stand on the road, you will see that today's journey is almost time consuming. You must stop somewhere for lunch, so get ready and start as early as possible today. Let us complete our todays breakfast sitting in the car with bread, butter, bananas and egg or anything else like that. If you can get out by five or six in the morning, it is best. If you can arrive before evening at Mount Abu, you can take yourself on foot to this incredibly beautiful sweet cool city. This city would be nice. This city is full of life. One of my favorite attractions in this city though is the world famous Dilwara Temple. And there is the amazing Nakki Lake. I am sure you will love this Nakki Lake lying lazily in the lap of the mountains in the dim light of the dense evening. We will spend the night today at Mount Abu.
The fifth day. Visit Mount Abu.
Get ready early and have a snack. First take a look at the world famous Dilwara Temple. This famous Jain temple was built from the eleventh to the middle of the thirteenth century. The artwork of this temple will fascinate you. After visiting the temple Now proceed to see the Brahma Kumari Spiritual University, at the same time visit their Peace Hall. Now let's visit the Arbuda temple. This temple is in the middle of the extraordinary natural environment on the hill. To visit this temple you have to climb innumerable stairs through the mountain. From here come to see Nakki Lake. Riding a horse, boating, is going on, and taking pictures with Rajasthani dress will continue. After lunch, let's go to see Guru Shikhar, Honeymoon Point and Sun Set Point. Remember, to visit these sights on Mount Abu, you have to rent a local car. If you ask the hotel, they will be able to make arrangements or you can negotiate with the car dealer regarding the number of points to visit and what prices he will charge for it. Since Mount Abu is on a hill, it is very cold here. Take warm clothes accordingly. After lunch, that is, after visiting so many places in the second phase, it will be evening to return to the hotel. If you have time, you can walk on the streets of this magnificent hill town and do some shopping on your own.
Sixth day. From Mount Abu to Udaipur.
Get ready early in the morning, have a snack and go out at eight o'clock in the morning. Today we are going to Udaipur. When I think of Udaipur, I think of Dasi Panna first. In order to save little Uday from the sword of his uncle who was greedy for the throne, she did not hesitate to sacrifice her own son Chandan, who was about the same age as Uday, in front of the open sword of Banbir. It will take four and a half hours, and if you have time for lunch on the road, it can take more or less five to five and a half hours. Arrive at the hotel in the afternoon and go out to see Pichola Lake. Remember that City Palace closes at five in the afternoon. So for a pleasant evening in Udaipur, the city of the lake, choose only Pichola Lake today. There are arrangements for boating in this huge artificial lake. You will rent a boat by bargaining. You will remember to watch the sunset by boat on this lake for many days. You can take a boat to the Jagmandir on the lake. According to the name of Maharana Jagat Singh, this palace is called Jagat Mandir or Jagmandir. This amazing lake will win your heart.
Seventh day. Visit to Udaipur.
Get ready in the morning, finish your breakfast and go out. Today at first we will see Fateh Sagar Lake in Udaipur, the city of lakes. The location of this lake is very beautiful. This lake also has boating facilities. Lots of attractions on the shores of the lake, this beautiful place is crowded almost all the time. There are so many types of fun and amusements it's hard to say. After visiting the lake, a little further along the shores of the lake is the Pratap Smarak. This Pratap Smarak is located on a small hilltop of the hill and is also called Moti Magri or Pearl Hill. The view of the Lake from the top of the hill to the bottom is amazing. There is a magnificent bronze statue of Maharana Pratap adorned on the other side of his favorite horse Chetak. The museum here carefully preserves valuable information about Rana Pratap and his councilors and the battle of Haldighati. After visiting Pratap Smarak let’s go to see Saheliyon Ki Bari. Maharana Sangram Singh, the father of Maharana Uday Singh, created this beautiful garden surrounded by trees and greenery in this place of arid Rajasthan for the private conversation of his queen and her forty-eight maids. The design of this garden was prepared by the Maharana himself. This magnificent amusement park is one of the highlights of Udaipur city. From here we will go straight to see the main attraction of Udaipur, The City Palace. Remember that it will take a long time to see the City Palace. So don't rush and visit the palace slowly. The view of Pichola Lake adjacent to this remarkable palace is incomparable. Nowadays, tickets for this palace are also being bought online, and tickets for the Light and Sound show are also being bought online by looking at the date and time of the show in advance. It is compulsory to have a school or college identity card for the students. However, after collecting detailed information on the subject, then buy a ticket. After visiting the palace, come back to the hotel. In this context, I would like to say that from Udaipur you can visit several other famous historical places of Rajputana, of course if you have time. For example, on a day trip from Udaipur, you can visit Nathwara, Eklingi Mahadev and Haldighati. For another day trip you can go to Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh from Udaipur. In that case you will have to stay two extra nights at Udaipur if your time is permitting for those trips.
The eighth day. Chittor from Udaipur.
The road from Udaipur to Chittor is about one hundred and fifty kilometers. It can be reached within three hours. However, it is better to take your breakfast early. You start early, within 8 to 8.30 in the morning, go straight to visit Chittor, also known as Chittorgarh. You also have to take a local car to visit Chittor. That is the rule of this area. Your car will be at the auto stand. Auto driver will be your guide here. Each of them will perfectly explain to you about each place and its history. First you bargain and then book the car. Purchase the ticket from the ticket counter at the main entrance of Chittorgarh fort, you can visit all the places of interest with this ticket. The driver will bring the ticket for you; you just have to pay the ticket price. Within two and a half hours, the main shots of Chittor were seen. You must see the ruins of Chittor Fort, which is deeply rooted in the history of India and Rajputana, you will see the Temple of Mirabai, who was completely submerged in Lord Krishna's love, you will see Rani Padmini's palace, you will see Padmavati's palace, you will see Vijay Stambha and Kirti Stambha, Kali Mata Temple, Fateh Prakash Palace, Gaumukh Reserver , The temple of Satish Deora, and the palace of Rana Kumbh. Everything is almost a ruin, yet our own story, the story of our pride, which is not a story, the story of all the heroes who never gave up in love with their motherland, so even if you touch this almost broken ancient history with your hand, a shiver rises inside your pores. This soil brings those days to every Indian like a dream of fire. So it is a pleasure to visit Chittor, it is like finding our own history. After visiting Chittor, let's go to the hotel. We will spend the night in Chittor. Although many people go straight to Pushkar instead of spending a night at Chittor, in that case it will be late night to reach Pushkar. You can do that if you want, but in my opinion it would be better to stay in Chittor for one night. The stress on the body will be a little less.
The Nineth day. Pushkar from Chittor.
As usual, get ready in the morning, eat breakfast and go out. Today we are going to visit the two most sacred pilgrimage lands of India, Puskar and Ajmer. It’s almost like a twin city. If you want to come to Puskar, you have to come through the famous Muslim pilgrimage Ajmer. There is famous Ajmer Sharif Dargah in Ajmer. The only Brahma Temple in our country is also in this Puskar. The Hindu Indians believe that if the supernatural deeds of the fathers and grandfathers, such as tarpana, etc., are performed on the shores of the lake of Puskar, it will bring the great merit, so this holy land is frequented by devotees round the year. Also every year in the month of Kartik according to the Hindu calendar or in the month of November of the English calendar, a week-long big fair is held at Puskar. The millions of people from far and wide come to see this famous fair at Puskar. Camels are brought to sell at fair from the different parts of India and other parts of Rajasthan. A seven-day cultural program is also organized by local artists at the fair. Lots of foreign tourists come to Puskar at that time to see this fair. In a word, Puskar is a wonderful place. In 2020, this fair will start on 22nd November and will end on 30th November. The road from Chittor to Puskar is about 250 km, more or less it will take five hours to reach to Puskar by car. When you reach Ajmer at noon, you will first see an outstanding lake, which is known as Anna Sagar Lake. Prithviraj Chauhan's grandfather Arunoraj Chauhan, whose nickname was Anna, was the one who built this wonderful artificial lake in the twelfth century. Since we will arrive at noon, we can have lunch here first. You need to rent a car or auto from here to visit Ajmer. The per capita rent is just according to the points you will visit here. You must take the mobile number of the driver of the car first, as it is very crowded on the alley and it can be very difficult to find your rented car. The main attraction of Ajmer is the Dargah, where many devotees offer “chadors”. In other words, when traveling to Ajmer with another car, you must take care of your own useful items such as mobile phone, money bag, etc. At Ajmer you visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Ana Sagar Lake, Arai Din Ka Jhopra, Akbar Palace, Durga Bagh, Prithviraj Memorial and The Clock Tower. It will take about two to two and a half hours to see these, although it depends on you. Then go to Puskar. Take a short climb up the hill valley path and see the Maharana Pratap Statue and Puskar Valley View Point. The view from here is very beautiful. Arrive at Puskar Hotel in the evening and take rest for the day. Tomorrow we will go to Jaipur after visiting the site scenes of Puskar.
The tenth day. Puskar Site Scenes.
Puskar is one of the best pilgrimage sites in India. Throughout the year, Puskar attracts a large number of pilgrims. Devotees gather at Puskar to offer peace to the soul of their ancestors in the holy waters of Puskar Lake and performing supernatural activities. Surrounded by numerous temples, this place has mainly temples to see around. According to the Padma Purana, Lord Brahma once received the news that the demon Vajranava was persecuting and torturing his mortal children. In a fit of rage, Brahma threw the lotus flower of his hand for the purpose of giant Vajranava. The giant was immediately relieved by the blow of that flower. While throwing the flower, a lake was created where the petals fell from it. This lake, which is formed by the fall of Lord Brahma's flower (Pushpa) which was in his hand (Kar), is therefore called Pushpa Kar or Pushkar. This Brahma temple is very ancient. It is said that Lord Brahma, after killing the demon Vajranav, organized a huge yajna on the banks of this lake. Sage Bishwamitra established this temple on the orders of Lord Brahma after this Yajna. History also says that this temple was renovated in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya, one of the best Vedic saints of India. There are about 500 temples, large and small, around Pushkar alone, most of which are now in ruins.
Get ready early and eat breakfast. Remember that there is a problem of traffic jam in Jaipur. First of all, take a look at Birla temple. You will love this magnificent temple of white stone in a calm and pleasant environment. From here, let's visit Hawa Mahal, one of the landmarks of Jaipur. It has now become a government office. Although some parts are still open for tourists, the problem is that there is no parking space here; the police do not allow any car to park here, so if you come in a big car or on a guided tour, the speed of the car can be slowed down and you may take photograph quickly. If you bring an auto and leave the auto here, then you can visit Hawa Mahal as you wish. Let's see Hawa Mahal. Now let's go to Jalmahal, one of the attractions of Jaipur. You have to park your car in the parking lot on the road. This water palace is a very beautiful palace in the middle of a huge lake. Crowds of shops are sitting on one side of the road here too. The environment here is very beautiful. Let's go to see the main attraction of Jaipur, Amber Fort or Amer Fort. You have to park your car in the parking lot of Amber fort and rent a jeep from here then go to the fort. The fort is located at a distance from the parking lot, and it is in a little bit height also, so renting a car is somehow mandatory. One more thing, it is very important to have an experienced guide to visit this huge fort properly. The owners of the car will arrange the guide. Talk to the driver in advance about the car and guide rent and get it all right. It takes about an hour and a half to visit such a big palace. This magnificent palace will soon take your mind away. There are two more forts in Jaipur, such as Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort. Several parts of the Jaigarh Fort are surrounded by the Indian Army for their work. The fort was once used mainly as an armory. Nahargarh fort is also very beautiful and its location is also very beautiful. The locals love to use this place as a picnic spot. In my opinion let's go straight out of Amber Fort and back to the parking lot. Keep in mind that car dealers will repeatedly ask you to take them to different stores to buy sarees etcs, which can be a waste of your time, as there is still a lot to see, so go straight back to the car parked and start to see City Palace next. One of the attractions of Jaipur is the City Palace. Many pages of Rajputana's history will be opened as soon as you enter the City Palace. It will take about an hour and a half to see well. Just opposite the City Palace is the famous Jantar Mantar made by Raja Joy Singh. Raja Joy Singh was a great scholar. This astronomer Maharaja has done extraordinary research on the planets and stars of the sky in that era. Jantar Mantar of Delhi was his contribution. There are many shopping places in this area. You can see the Jantar Mantar and after that can have lunch here and you can get the marketing of Jaipur from here also. Now come back to the hotel. Today is the last day of our trip to Rajasthan. Enjoy the last day with everyone in the evening.
The Twelveth day. Drop at Railway station or
